Metal Curtains in “Frost Green” – A Perfect Blend of Privacy and Aesthetics

Sukoon, a serene home nestled in the foothills of the majestic Himalayas in Pathankot, beautifully embodies the traditional architectural essence of Himachal Pradesh. Designed by Mr. Mahajan, the house is surrounded by a verandah on all sides, offering breathtaking views of the landscaped garden in the front and a driveway lined with fruit-laden trees to the left.

To ensure privacy on two sides of the verandah without compromising openness, traditional fabric curtains were not an option due to their susceptibility to outdoor elements. Instead, metal curtains in the shade “Frost Green” were chosen. This innovative solution seamlessly blends functionality with aesthetics—providing partial privacy while maintaining an airy, unobstructed feel. The weather-resistant metal curtains stand resilient against sun, rain, and wind, making them a durable and maintenance-free addition.
